Horse Adoption Promo Continues

In August the Central California SPCA featured a horse adoption promotion. We are offering free horse adoption fees (to approved forever homes) with $100 worth of free hay and free transportation within a 60 mile radius! We have nearly 35 horses available for adoption!

Many of these horses have been rescued from deplorable conditions, abuse, and neglect and have been nursed back to health. We at the CCSPCA hope that our free adoption promotion will find these beautiful creatures the “furever” home they deserve.

Within the month of August we received almost 80 applications for horse adoptions! We would like to thank the community for such a great response. We are currently in the process of reviewing the applications, making phone calls to potential adoptees and making home inspections.

We hope to have most of our horses adopted before the end of September. We are able to provide such a great promotion with the help of a generous donation bequeathed to the CCSPCA last year that was to be used specifically for the horses.

And all of the warm responses and outreach we’ve had from the community concerning our horses are also greatly appreciated.
