Justice For Princess

Justice for Princess has been served! Tyrell Harris has been sentenced to 32 months in state prison for pleading guilty to animal abuse charges. His sentencing is scheduled for February 1, 2016. We'd like to thank the District Attorney's Animal Cruelty Unit for prosecuting and winning this case on behalf of Princess. As of today, her medical bills have amounted to over $13,000. Thank you to all of our supporters who have helped Princess. As a recap, Princess is a chocolate brown female Pit Bull who was severely beaten by her owner, Tyrell Harris. One of our humane officers found Princess in a hot garage bound to a wooden palate. She quickly rushed Princess to Veterinary Emergency Services where they confirmed she had a frontal skull fracture and other injuries concurrent with abuse. After being stabilized, Princess was moved to our Small Animal Hospital where they kept a watchful eye on her. She has now completely healed and will be placed up for adoption. We are extremely happy that she will get to find a new, loving home she deserves.
