National Veterinary Staff Appreciation Week

Although we value our veterinary staff every day, we are extra thankful to them during National Veterinary Technician Appreciation week - October 14 through October 20. Our veterinary staff is essential to our day-to-day operations at our animal center. They ensure the health and well-being of every animal in our care, performing spay and neuter surgeries, administering medication, and diagnosing medical issues to all animals in foster care. Our vet staff is dedicated, warm-hearted, and giving. Our Spay and Neuter Services staff performed 5,941spays/neuters during the 2016/2017 fiscal year! That’s almost 6,000 pets that cannot add to our pet overpopulation problem.National Veterinary Technician Week, first celebrated in 1993, takes place in the third week of October each year, and provides an opportunity to recognize veterinary technicians’ contributions.THANK YOU CCSPCA VET STAFF!
