The Rescue of Princess Update

Princess, the beaten pit bull, is recovering quickly in our CCSPCA Small Animal Hospital. She gets to visit staff on a daily basis and loves running around in our training yard. She is always full of smiles and tail wags.
We submitted a request of prosecution of animal cruelty against Tyrell Harris to the District Attorneyâs office. The Fresno County District Attorneyâs office has recently created an Animal Cruelty Unit. The goal of this unit is to bring those who abuse animals to justice. The District Attorney is working with the CCSPCA on Princessâ case as well as other animal cruelty and neglect cases.
The District Attorney has moved forward with prosecuting Tyrell Harris, the owner of Princess. Harris âno showedâ to a recent court hearing and now has a warrant out for his arrest. We are hoping that they are successful in their prosecution which will bring justification to Princess.
