The Tail-less Cat
Earlier this month, an injured stray cat was picked up by one of our Animal Control Officers and brought back to our facility. His tail was essentially rotting from what we think was a cat fight, and he was in a lot of pain. The poor little guy was in need of serious TLC, and we knew we had to help him out. After his stray hold was complete, we ultimately decided it would be in the best interest to amputate his tail in order for him to live in comfort. Though he doesnât have much of a tail anymore, he can now live a happier life. He will be available for adoption once he is recovered! The care for this cat was made possible by our Wellness Fund. The Wellness Fund is supported by compassionate donations from the public, and helps keep the adoption fees as low as possible after a procedure of this magnitude. If you are interested in donating to the Fund you can make a donation by visiting http://weblink.donorperfect.com/CCSPCAWellnessFund. If you have any questions, please call (559) 233-7722 ext. 110.
